Creating Works of Art that are in the realm of Abstract Geometricalism have been fundamentally evident in some recent works this past year.

 

Since my youth, I had always been fascinated with the limitless potential of the Universe, Galaxies and even...yes, aliens. 

There have been occasions throughout the years that I would dream of very abstract alien-like creatures. 

Difficult to ascertain the details relating to said dreams I decided to release the void of unknowingness into the creation of art. 

In this particular case, with paint, a brush and a blank canvas.

 

It is often debatable that we dream in colour and to my vivid recollection these dreams are always full of diverse and translucent colours, hence the varied colours utilized within the Alien Creatures on this canvas. 

The black void thoughout the painting distinguishes black matter in the universe and as seen in my dreams.

It is the unknown. Interesting and Mysterious. A wild ride in understanding the deeper meaning to it all. 

 

My use of brushstrokes with the Blue and Red "flame" emphasizes the stylistic movement towards the top of the painting which determines the energy flow of particles that are traveling upwards and away from the viewer. 

Mysterious as it may seem, the element I wanted to convey is that of Quantum Tunnelling. 

A phenom of particles passing through absolute barriers.

Quantum Tunnelling occurs in situations such as in Nuclear Fusion, the Sun, for example.

The significance of Quantum Tunnelling with this work of art is that I have been intrigued by the fascinating science behind it and have been dissecting articles and books on the subject matter which in turn transcends into art. 

I am not entirely certain if the usage of such a phenomenon on this canvas was either consciously or sub-consciously placed. 

The mystique of the Universe and Dreams are embedded in my mind and held significance to this piece. 

 

The sexually explicit demeanour of this group of aliens delivers the message to us on one of natures basic needs. 

The plausibilities of this potential specie of having sexual intent. To fuse together as one energy source. 

 

Energy flows amongst us at a constant. 

Dreams sometimes takes us to an alternative state where the unknown can become the known.
